Air Wisconsin WARN Layoffs... But the Certificate Lives On

Since the start of 2025, Air Wisconsin has laid off more than 1,000 employees. Most people missed it.
This week, they filed another WARN notice, this time cutting 241+ jobs across Appleton (ATW) and Milwaukee (MKE). The layoffs become effective October 28, and while the official language leaves a little wiggle room, the filing states the cuts are “expected to be permanent.”
