We Didn’t Lose the Jobs. We Rebuilt the Org.

There’s a BIG shift happening inside some of the world’s most powerful companies.

Not a wave of layoffs.Although, yes, they are happening. Not a post-pandemic reset. I know everyone wants to still blame over hiring… nah we are over that for the most part. This is something you want to see if you’re only tracking headcount.

Entire job families are disappearing. But companies aren’t shrinking. In fact, many are hiring more than ever. Just not for the roles they cut.

So WHY is it so hard to find a job ya’ll?

You’ll hear all kinds of lines about it on CNBC, in earnings calls, and from executives trying to calm the noise.

And YES, AI is creating jobs. It’s taking them too. So don’t believe that little ol’ statement about AI will never take your job. It’s happening… just ask the TENS of THOUSANDS it has already affected.

Who are those new AI-driven jobs for?

And what happens when the new roles demand skills that millions of workers never had a shot to build?

This isn’t theory. It’s happening.

Case in point… let’s look at The IBM Blueprint

I’ve identified three other major players - each in a different industry - running their own version of this AI-led replacement loop.

I pulled their workforce architecture data from 2022 through mid-2025.

Mapped the roles, tracked the departments, and looked at which ones collapsed, and which quietly grew in their place.

Let’s go behind the scenes of the reorgs taking place that NOBODY talks about and what it really means.

The companies? You already know them. These will have an epic cataclysmic effect on each of their industries as these reorgs keep happening. This will include offshoring of jobs, consolidation of jobs, and movement of job functions to vendors instead.
